It took Adobe years to add these gradient options to Photoshop.

Great info. Is there a way to create alternative text for text frames in InDesign or is that still only possible in remediation in Acrobat Pro?

There is a lot more in keep options than it is shown. Several great "tricks" how it ca be used.

Nice and clear. It will be good that you showed the Gradient panel. It is another issue that there is no way to edit Gradient Swatch or that there is no option to save all what is made with Gradient Tool in Radial Gradient. Also, Freeform Gradient can not be saved as a swatch in any capacity. Lot of work for the Illustrator team.

Why doesn't Adobe make these the default settings? Or, better yet, why is the container for text so obnoxiously big with the "dead" space under the type. They should just make the text frame hug the type like when you fit to text in InDesign. Does anyone EVER want to use that obtuse text frame for aligning to anything?

How do you keep the margins correct, when turning off facing pages, when designing a book? To retain the inside margin. Like when designing a book with facing pages, then turning it off to place the bleeds correctly. I've done this before, but I can't remember how it was done anymore...

Great tutorial but I cannot but wonder why Adobe has not made iInDesign's gradient tool any better. They do have the illustrator precedent. I would suggest that before jumping on board the AI train they should master the simple commands that are needed every day...

In days of QuarkXPress, I devise I system for making calendars. With InDesign nested and grep styles is even easier. I'd like to see that script.

I have used Bridge since its inception. It is the best file manager. I promote it and show it to the people. But, you are right, so many people are not using it. And, there I think about professional users.

Scripts, Plugins, Extensions, Add-Ons ... why would that be confusing at all! 😜
